Police Recover Stolen SUV Following Chase From Jenks Into Tulsa

Police are looking for a driver who led them on a chase early Wednesday in a stolen SUV from Jenks into west Tulsa.

Jenks Police officers say they tried to pull over the Chevy Tahoe at around 12:30 a.m., but the driver took off.  That chase went through Tulsa, the downtown IDL and then west towards Sand Springs.

The SUV ended up behind a house north of Highway 412 and 65th West Avenue.  The driver had gotten out and run off. 

Police said a check determined the SUV had been reported stolen in Tulsa.
