After a round of severe weather in parts of Green Country, we’re starting to feel the after-effects of the system.
News On 6 Meteorologist Lacey Swope says a cold front has moved into our area and we can expect to see lower temperatures.
Following a warm Saturday, Sunday temperatures will stay in the mid-50s but a north breeze will keep it on the chilly side.
As we continue the day we’ll see temperatures continue to drop overnight and into Monday morning with temperatures in the 30s and some even reaching the 20s.
Possible frost could also be seen in areas Monday morning.
As the week continues, temperatures will be in the mid-50s to low 60s before a slight warming trend bumps those up to the 70s later in the week.
Be aware there is a chance of rain for the weekend that could impact St. Patrick’s Day. Isolated storms might develop and, if they do, they will have the potential to become severe.
