Multiple fire departments battled a wildfire southwest of Bartlesville Tuesday afternoon.
Washington County Emergency Management confirms seven departments fought a large wildfire near Highway 123 and CR 2075.
As of about 3 p.m. they say no structures had been lost but the flames threatened at least half a dozen homes.
Highway 123 was closed in both directions near Onion Prairie Road for about an hour while firefighters struggled to put out the fast-moving flames.
It’s safe enough now for us to give you a closer look. This is off Highway 123 near Onion Prairie Rd. I can still see flames along the leading edge- thankfully, from here, it looks like the fire is getting smaller along the ridge. #OsageCounty #okwx @NewsOn6 pic.twitter.com/g0BEVnsGyx

Fire officials said there are several fires burning - some have been burning for a couple of hours.
They said it's too hard to determine at this time how many acres have burned.
No injuries have been reported.
They don't know how the fire started.
The fire danger is critical because of strong northwest winds.
Fire officials said other fires were burning near Foreaker, another off Highway 60, and one between Wynona and Barnsdall.
