9-Year-Old Hit By Car, Taken To Hospital, Police Say

A 9-year-old cyclist was taken to the hospital Saturday afternoon after being hit by a car, police say.  

The boy was riding his bike in a neighborhood near 51st and Memorial when he pulled out in front of a car, police say. 

Police say the car bumped the boy on his bike. Reports say he was driving the speed limit and will not be ticketed. 

The boy sustained minor injuries, but was still taken to the hospital.
