Poteau City Councilor Arrested In California On Drug Charges

Police say a Poteau city councilor is arrested in California following a drug investigation involving both Oklahoma and California authorities.

Poteau Police tell KFSM, the CBS affiliate in Fort Smith, David White was arrested Wednesday and faces several drug charges including distributing methamphetamine and drug conspiracy.

Police say White is now waiting to be extradited back to Oklahoma.
