Tulsa police arrested two teenagers after a chase ended in a field at Mohawk Boulevard and North Columbia Avenue.

Police told News On 6 they followed the driver for a little over a mile starting around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 7. They told News On 6 they tried to pull the car over for not having a tail light, but it took off instead.

The car stopped in a field near 36th Street North and North Lewis, and several people got out and ran.

Officers set up a perimeter and took two males, ages 17 and 15, into custody. They said the car was stolen in a recent robbery.

"A female had some vehicle problems, flagged down some people who offered her some help," said TPD's Sean Larkin.  "Instead of offering her help, they carjacked her."

Police are investigating if the teens in the car were the ones who carjacked the woman.

No one was injured in the incident.  Police say they are looking for at least one more person.

If you know anything that can help police in their investigation, call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
