Police have located a missing infant Wednesday morning following a Tulsa car crash. She was found around 11 a.m. at her paternal grandmother's home and appears to be fine.
Her father was taken into custody Wednesday evening.
Tulsa Police say the crash happened following a disturbance involving the infant's mother and father.
Police say the father - identified as Dallas Woods, 36 - sped off with 5-month-old Madison Woods. Woods crashed into a utility pole in the 700 block of South Sheridan a short time later, police say.
They say Woods then ran off with his daughter. They say the infant was not in a properly secured car seat at the time of the crash, and police were concerned about Madison's well-being.
A resident in the area of the crash said a man with a baby came by asking for help, according to TPD. When police got there, the two were gone.
Tulsa Police say the Department of Human Services is now involved in the investigation.
The crash knocked out power to over 500 PSO customers in the area. PSO crews are working to repair the power pole and restore power.
