The Tulsa football team is looking ahead to the ship at Tulane this Saturday.
It's been a roller coaster month for the Golden Hurricane with a win in the home opener, two last-second losses and a 14-point loss to Navy.
But despite the emotional ups and downs, Philip Montgomery says his team continues to fight.
"You're disappointed, you're frustrated,” said Montgomery. “I feel like we're close. I think our team feels like we're close. But close doesn't cut it.”
He added, “At the end of the day, there ain't nothing good. I've said this before; there ain't nothing good about losing. We've got to get over that hump. You need to, and want to, and doing everything you can to get back on the right track. And you've just got to keep plugging away at it."
