Citywide curbside recycling is slated to begin in November for Glenpool.
Residents must register their choice for the size of their trash can by Sept. 30 at www.GlenpoolRecycles.com.
One roll-out recycle container will be provided to each single-family residence in Glenpool, according to the website.
The collection container will include an attached yellow lid with a label to identify which items to place in the container.
"You have the choice of which size waste container best suits your disposal needs when recycling," the website states. "In choosing cart size, residents must fit all garbage inside the waste container with the lid closed or the city’s collection company has the right to refuse pick-up. Therefore please consider your heavier garbage weeks (ie. Christmas, Thanksgiving, parties, etc.) when selecting your cart size. A $35.00 administrative / delivery fee will be assessed to households which decide to switch to a larger or smaller waste container after September 30th."
If a resident does not sign up, the city's default size is a 95-gallon waste and 95-gallon recycle container.
