Neighbor Helps Tulsa Police Apprehend Suspected Car Burglar

Police say a watchful neighbor and her boyfriend helped police catch a suspected Tulsa car burglar early Saturday.

The suspect is identified as Dominick Beach, 20.

Officers got the call around 3:15 a.m. in the 4300 block of East 5th Place, that a man was breaking into their neighbor's car. 

Police said the caller's boyfriend chased after Beach, eventually catching up to him and holding onto him until officers arrived.  

In their report, police said Beach told officers where he had hidden items he had taken from several vehicles.  Officers then recovered a bag which contained checks and mail Beach had reportedly stole.

Police book Dominick Beach into jail on two second-degree burglary complaints.
