News On 6 and Mullin Plumbing are recognizing another "Impactful Teacher."
This time it is a teacher at Owasso High School.
Alan Crone, Rich Lenz and Tess Maune went to Owasso High to surprise math teacher William Smith.
He teaches physics and robotics.
William Smith's students like him so much, enrollment numbers in both AP and regular physics are up and students want even more by asking for a Physics 2 class.
"I try to make physics as approachable as possible for everyone. I don't expect my students to become physicists... but I do expect them to at least try. Physics should be fun," said William Smith.
Smith gets a $250 check to use however he'd like.
Big thanks to Mullin Plumbing for making this possible.
