Missouri Jail Escapee With Tulsa Ties Still On The Loose

Oklahoma authorities are on the lookout for an escapee from a southwest Missouri county jail.

Authorities say Christopher Walker broke out of the McDonald County jail in Pineville Wednesday evening. A second escapee, John Weeks, was captured near Longview, Missouri, according to Sheriff Michael Hall.

The sheriff's office says Walker has family in the Tulsa area and may be headed to Oklahoma.

Deputies say they noticed the two men were missing during a head count at supper time.  Walker and Weeks climbed out through an air conditioning duct, according to authorities.

The McDonald County Sheriff's Office says deputies found the van the pair abandoned on a Missouri county road early Thursday. 

Deputies say John Weeks was in jail on charges of assaulting an officer and resisting arrest and Christopher Walker is charged with resisting arrest.

Walker is still on the loose and should be considered dangerous, authorities said.  If you see him, call 911.
