Man Robs Catoosa Dollar General

Rogers County Sheriff's Office is investigating a robbery at the Dollar General at 8555 East 590 Road in Catoosa. They said a man in his 50s robbed the discount store just before 10 p.m. Monday, June 5.

Deputies said the man was in the store for a while, walking around with a yellow shopping basket - apparently waiting for other customers to leave. He then went to the register, put the basket down and acted like he had a firearm near his hip. It's not clear if he was actually armed as the clerk didn't see a gun, a report states.

Authorities said the man demanded money from the cashier then told her to go to the back of the store. He left at that time, and no one was injured.

Deputies didn't have a good description of the suspect but are reviewing surveillance video and processing other evidence, the report states.
