The Hartford building in downtown Tulsa is hoping to lure new tenants looking for office space as it begins leasing for the first phase of redevelopment.

The building is located in the East Village at 1st and Greenwood.

Owner Neal Bhow said the space should be ready for occupancy in the next six months.

"This is the right time for the Hartford Building to be repurposed and occupied," Bhow said.

He said there would be parking availability for companies that choose to lease.

"Parking is a big issue downtown," Bhow said.

Phase 2 will consist of new construction which includes plans for more than 60 apartments.

Earlier this year, News On 6 talked to Bhow about the renovations on on the property.
