Malfunctioning Train Blocks Multiple Crossings In Claremore

A hose on a train line came loose Saturday afternoon, causing a train on the BNSF line to go into emergency mode, stopping it completely in Claremore, the City of Claremore wrote on its Facebook page. 

The train stopped as part of a built-in safety measure, but when it stopped, it blocked multiple crossings in Claremore, according to the city. 

The crews had to get off the train to figure out why it went into emergency stoppage, the city wrote. 

Another crew was en route at about 3:30 p.m., and they hoped to have the train moved as soon as possible out of town for further inspections and to clear the crossings.
