In the midst of the state's budget crisis, a Tulsa church has a message for Oklahoma lawmakers.

The sign outside Fellowship Congregational United Church of Christ reads "A Budget is a moral document."

This isn't the first time they've put up the sign.

Church leaders say a budget is more than just a piece of paper-- it's a set of priorities for all Oklahomans.

"For my faith perspective, working from many stories in the Bible, the morality comes in with Jesus telling us that we are to be judged by how we treat the weakest among us," said Pastor Chris Moore.

The church says the budget should reflect the values of the state.
