Tulsa Police Chief: Officer Betty Shelby Being Returned To Duty

Tulsa Police Officer Betty Shelby will be returning to duty, but not in a patrol capacity, Tulsa Police Chief Chuck Jordan said in an emailed statement Friday. 

"Pursuant to the jury verdict of acquittal in the criminal case of Officer Betty Shelby, she is being returned to duty. She will not be assigned in a patrol capacity," Jordan wrote.
