Tulsa police released dashcam video of an officer-involved shooting that left one person in critical condition.
The shooting happened on Thursday, April 28, 2017 in the 6200 block of South Peoria. Police said Officer Jason Angel was investigating a previous shooting in which Day was a suspect and knew Day may have been armed.

The video shows Angel approach Day and ask him to get off the bike he was riding and to “put your hands on the hood of my car.”
Day can be heard telling the officer, “I didn’t do nothing, sir.”
The video shows Angel attempting to restrain Day but Day backs away; Angel then can be heard asking for backup.
Angel and Day continue to argue off camera. A Taser can be heard, then Angel is heard ordering Day, “Put your hands where I can see them, now!”
The Department said Angel did use a Taser and said it had no effect on Day.
Police said Angel chased Day who, at one point, put a hand on his gun.
In the video multiple gunshots can be heard and then Angel tells dispatch shots were fired. Angel asks for EMSA and shouts, “Stay back, he’s got a gun!”
Police and witnesses confirmed Day did not fire any shots.
Officer Angel can be heard giving commands to Day and telling him, “I’m gonna help you buddy. I’m gonna do the best we can.”
Day asks why he was shot and Angel says, “You got a gun you pulled on me, that’s why.”
Day was shot at least twice and taken to the hospital in critical condition, police said.
Angel is on paid leave during the investigation.
