Sheriff's deputies credit tips for the arrest of two people in an armed robbery of a Tulsa convenience store last week.

The sheriff's office says 20-year-old Brianna Thomas was taken into custody in the 12300 block of East Archer Thursday afternoon.

Deputies say Thomas used an acquaintance’s car without permission when she drove 33-year-old Jesus Mendoza to the "The Fast Stop" in the 1500 block of North Yale at about 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2017.

Surveillance cameras showed Mendoza in the store at the time of the robbery, according to TCSO.

The sheriff's office located Jesus Mendoza at a home in the 2000 block of North Atlanta Place Thursday evening, but said he refused to come outside.

Deputies say U.S. Marshals used pepper spray to force Mendoza out of the home and he then surrendered.

They booked Thomas and Mendoza into the Tulsa County Jail.
