The state medical examiner's office said they cannot determine what caused the death of an Owasso infant. Five-month-old Brice Vickers was found unresponsive in a home in the 18000 block of East 76th Street North on February 10, 2017.
He died later that morning at Saint John Owasso.
The ME's report states the manner of death is unknown, or sudden unexplained infant death. Because the baby was found in an adult bed where he had been bed-sharing, accidental suffocation could not be ruled out, the examiner found.
Child neglect warrants have been issued against three adults that lived with the child. Cheyenna Bates, the child's mother, her boyfriend Raymond Vickers and a roommate Rae Ann Montanez. Montanez was quickly arrested, but police say Bates and Vickers are on the run.

Deputies said drugs including meth and marijuana were in easy access of the children living in the home, though the report shows none were detected in the baby's body. There was also feces on the floor and bed, an affidavit states.
The baby was well-nourished with no significant injuries though he did test positive for some common viral strains including respiratory virus, coronavirus and rinovirus/enterovirus.
"It is unlikely that these pathogens directly caused the death and the degree to which they may have contributed is not known," the report states.
