Tulsa Police: Body Found Near Creek Appears To Be A Suicide

Tulsa Police need help identifying a body found near a creek in south Tulsa Friday afternoon.

The body was found near Joe Creek near 74th Street and Wheeling Avenue, just north and west of Victory Christian Center.

Police said the body is that of a white male between 16 and 24 years old, between 5-feet-6-inches and 5-feet-9-inches tall with a slim build around 160 pounds. Sergeant Dave Walker said the body had some hair on the face and he was dressed in a black t-shirt, black shorts and had black Levis shoes.

They said the body had a plastic bag over the head and face and are investigating it as a suicide.
