Driver Arrested Following Tulsa Police Chase

Police arrested a man after he led officers on a short chase late Wednesday.

Officers said just before 11 p.m., police spotted a suspicious SUV at the Economy Inn on South Garnett.  They said when the officer drove up to the vehicle, it sped off, turning into a neighborhood and attempted to lose the officer.

After catching up with the SUV, police said the driver led police on a chase which eventually ended in the 2300 block of South 104th East Avenue where the driver was taken into custody for numerous traffic violations.
