Prosecutors Charge Rogers County Man With Fatal Stabbing At Rodeo

A first-degree murder charge has been filed in Rogers County against 39-year-old Margarito Escarino for a stabbing death outside the Riverbend rodeo arena earlier in December.

On Sunday evening, December 11th, Rogers County deputies were sent to the arena near Inola about a fight and stabbing.

The sheriff's office says three men were arrested after they got into a fight with another man after their horses bumped into each other.

An investigation determined that during that fight, Escarino stabbed 24-year-old Fabian Perez.
