Driver Sought After Fleeing Tulsa Police In Stolen SUV

Police say they are still looking for the driver of a stolen SUV following a chase early Thursday.

Sgt. Stephanie Aldridge says just before 1 a.m. an officer attempted to stop the GMC Yukon in the 5300 block of East Archer for a traffic violation.  

She says the driver sped off.  

The pursuit ended in a yard in the 800 block of North Columbia when the SUV got stuck.  The driver got out and ran.  

A police K9 officer was unable to locate him.  However, police say a female juvenile passenger was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant.
