Rogers County Sheriff's Office Arrest Man For Failing To Register As Sex Offender

The Rogers County Sheriff's Office arrested a man Tuesday for failing to notify officials that he'd moved, a requirement of sex offenders. 

Law enforcement arrested John David Benson, 65, after searching for him for more than five years, RCSO said.

Benson is considered a "wanted and violent" offender and has multiple warrants, officers said. 

He was convicted of child abuse/neglect in 2001, online court records show. 

Benson's bond has been set for more than $13,000.
