BA City Council Approves Increase For Water, Sewer Service

The cost of water, sewer and storm water services is going up in Broken Arrow.

The city council voted Wednesday night to increase the rates so the average homeowner will pay just under $7 more a month for the services - $2.75 for sewer, $3.36 for water and $0.76 for stormwater.

The council said the increases will help offset repair costs.

According to the City, the increases will pay for operational expenses and debt service payments on $90 million worth of capital projects.

Broken Arrow homeowners will see the increase on their January bills.
