More than 20 kids in need got an early Christmas present this morning thanks to Tulsa Police and the Rotary club.
Officers took the kids out to a Target near 15th and Yale Saturday morning for Tulsa's Shop with a Cop event.
Each kid got to walk around the store with an officer to shop for their families, while rotary members pick presents for the kids.
Officers say it's a great opportunity to connect with the kids in the community.
“It just gives us an opportunity to show them that we are human beings, and we are here to do things to help them,” said officer Shawn Kite.
Booker T. Washington students volunteered to wrap the presents for each student.
