Sleepy Driver Leads To Crash On Tulsa Highway

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a passenger was taken to the hospital after her car's driver apparently fell asleep and crashed on Interstate-244 in Tulsa late Thursday.

Troopers said the crash happened in the eastbound lanes just before 11 p.m. near Harvard. 

The driver told the OHP, he fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into a barrier on the side of the highway.  

Troopers said the passenger was not seriously injured.
