Mayor-Elect Bynum To Bring 10 Advisers With Him To Office

The new mayor of Tulsa takes office in a few weeks, and will bring with him a team of 10 advisors with an average age of about 35. 

GT Bynum's team is made up of people with backgrounds in politics, journalism and education.

He also chose former mayor Kathy Taylor to serve as the Chief of Economic Development.

"I wanted to go find smart, passionate, fired up people who are willing to challenge me and my ideas. I didn't want to just surround myself with people who all think like I do," Bynum said. 

Bynum takes office December 5, 2016.
