Man Shot To Death Outside Tulsa Apartment Complex

A man is dead after a shooting at the Towne Square Apartments in the 1600 block of East Young Place - near Booker T. Washington High School. It's Tulsa's 68th homicide of the year.

Police are looking for leads, wanting anyone with information on who opened fire in this apartment complex to call them. Police said they got a call around 11 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2016, about several shots fired.

First responders got to the apartment complex and found a 40-year-old man shot several times.  He died at the hospital.

Police believe he was shot outside an apartment then made his way into the parking lot before collapsing. Homicide Sgt. Dave Walker said officers reported finding a lot of marijuana in that apartment, but he stopped short of calling that a motive.

Walker said there several witnesses to the shooting, but they all took off. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
