Early voting numbers in Tulsa County are already more than twice what they were in 2012, and there is still one more day left.

The weather has been nice, and, according to those we spoke with, the company in line is pretty friendly; but it's the wait time that has some a little upset.

People like Bob Sober said decided to early vote to avoid the crowds and just be done with it.

"I figured the line would be even worse on Election Day," he said.

So far, more than 13,000 people in Tulsa County have taken advantage of early voting – that’s already more than double 2012 according to Election Board secretary Patty Bryant.

With a steady stream of people, she said the biggest complaint was the long line at Hardesty Regional Library.

"They felt that the line was too long, that there was no parking," Bryant said. "I am so sorry, but it's an election, it's what we do every four years."

But for others, it hasn't been that bad.

Marty: "You just timed yourself going through the line, how long did it take you?"
Sober: "Yes, it took 44 minutes, 26.38 seconds."
Marty: "And you're still smiling?"
Sober: "Yes, It was wonderful. It was a nice day to be out and voting today."

For 88-year-old Mayetta Frances-Miller, it was her first time early voting. She said the election workers were prompt and efficient.

"Not very long, not very long, I was really surprised," she said.

"Read your Bible and do what it tells you to do, and God will help you," she said.

Because so many people are voting early, Bryant thinks lines could be smaller than you are used to if you vote Tuesday.

And, if you're going to try to come out Saturday for the last day of early voting, Bryant said she expects downtown to have a shorter wait time than at the Hardesty Regional Library.
