Car Crashes Through Fence At Tulsa Apartment Complex

Police say a woman led them on a brief chase north of downtown Monday morning.

At first, police believed the woman was a suspect in a hit-and-run and theft of a vehicle. She led them on a chase up Cincinnati then east on Independence.

The pursuit ended when the car crashed into a fence at the Sunset Plaza apartments just east of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Independence.

Police said the woman had had some kind of mental issue and were working to get her the appropriate help. Her car was covered with graffiti.
