Tulsa-based ONEOK was fined $732,100 for 15 safety violations following a 2008 fire at its Bushton, Kansas facility, according to the U.S. Department of Transportation's Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration.

The pipeline safety regulations were found during an investigation following the fire, PHMSA wrote in a news release.

The fines are specifically against ONEOK NGL Pipeline, L.P., ONEOK NGL Pipeline, L.L.C., and ONEOK Underground Storage Company, L.L.C.

PHMSA said ONEOK operates 11,500 miles of pipeline transporting natural gas liquids in Oklahoma, Kansas and several other states.

There were no injuries as a result of the fire and ONEOK is reviewing the orders and considering its legal options, said ONEOK spokeswoman Stephanie Higgins.
