Man Runs Away After Chase From Osage County Into Tulsa

Osage County deputies and Tulsa police are looking for a driver who ran off after a chase early Friday which ended in west Tulsa.

Deputies say the chase began at around 3:45 a.m. when they tried to stop a car in rural Osage County.

They said the driver took off, leading deputies into west Tulsa where they finally got the car to stop on 35th West Avenue near Charles Page Boulevard.

Deputies said the driver got out and ran.  Tulsa Police brought in K9 officers but were unable to locate the man.

Deputies found several burglary tools inside the car and learned the car may have been stolen.
