Owasso Police arrested a 24-year-old Sapulpa man after a high-speed chase early Thursday.
Officers said at around 2 a.m. they stopped a Nissan Sentra driven by Mark Dewayne Bryant Jr. for failing to dim his bright lights while westbound on 96th Street North.
Police said a check determined Bryant had several outstanding felony warrants. They said that is when Bryant sped off with police in pursuit.
The police report said the chase wound its way around a number of Owasso streets at speeds reaching 85 mph. Bryant eventually got onto Highway 169 and headed south, according to police.
Police said at about 56th Street North, officers put out stop sticks, which caused the Nissan's tires to go flat.
Police arrested Bryan on numerous traffic complaints, as well as DUI and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Mark Bryant was booked into the Tulsa County jail. Jail records show he has a court appearance set for October 27th.
