Longtime Tulsa Police Officer Marvin Blades, Senior Dies

Family and friends are mourning the loss of a Tulsa Public Schools campus police officer.

Marvin Blades, Senior passed away yesterday.

The former Tulsa police officer was known for the impact he made on young Tulsans, with his messages about responsibility, education, and doing the right thing.

As an officer on the gang task force, he also worked with at-risk youth.

One Facebook post described him as honest, strong, sincere, passionate, a community advocate, and a loyal friend.
