A Christian-based non-profit group has big plans for a Broken Arrow church and its property.

Grace Church Properties is located at the southern end of Highway 169 and the Creek Turnpike. Grace Church Properties is closing with Youth Mission Education Foundation to sell 58 of the 76 acres that they own.

Foundation representatives said in buying the property they hope to be able to improve some of the challenges that occur in the Oklahoma schools.

They are a Christian-based foundation and he said their approach is to impact homes and the community in Tulsa.

Now, they're going to have Tulsa Adventist Academy take on some of these buildings so they can continue to grow their school.

In addition, they want to get businesses out in the area that are attractive to teenagers for work mentorships and internships such as media and technology and other businesses willing and able to guide young teenagers and young adults.

The foundation is still fundraising for the property, but Jake Schellenberg with the foundation said they do have a planned closing for the end of November.
