A local Tulsa restaurant is closed after a pickup slammed into its storefront.
The owner of the restaurant near 61st and Sheridan said she got a call about a pickup crashing into her pizzeria.
Bricks went flying and the crash sent tables and chairs everywhere.
La Roma Pizza owner, Katia Azar said, “Friday nights are one of our busiest nights, so that’s gonna affect our business for sure. So it’s a little bit sad that it happened. If people were dining in it would have been a lot worse. Thank God that the gentleman who was driving the truck didn't get hurt."
The owners of La Roma Pizza said they will be closed Friday night to get their storefront secured.
