A judge appointed a new administrator for Terence Crutcher's estate Friday.

A judge appointed a neutral third party attorney to take over that role for the next 25 days.

Previously, a judge had appointed the mother of his children, Frenchel Johnson, then, Crutcher’s parents ask they be appointed instead.

Next month, a judge will decide if Johnson is legally Terence Crutcher's wife.

Her attorney says they are common-law married and lived together for 16 years, but Crutcher's parents say the two were not married, so she has no spousal claims.
