Green Country Employers Looking To Hire Veterans

More than 60 employers were looking to hire Green Country veterans Wednesday at a Tulsa job fair. 

Organizers said veterans have unique skills employers need within their companies. 

"They've learned core values, teamwork, leadership, and discipline," said Stephen Sullivan. "So they have many intangibles that are employers appreciate, and need and want in their organization." 

Veterans will get some tips for job interviews Thursday during a workshop at the Tulsa Eastgate Workforce Center.
