Tulsa Police Car Rear-Ended On 71st Street West Of River

A Tulsa police cruiser was rear-ended by another driver Monday morning on West 71st Street. The wreck took place in the westbound lanes just before 7 a.m.

Sergeant Kurt Dodd said the officer was stopped behind another vehicle that was turning left when she was hit from behind by another westbound car.

The second car involved was a Chevy Camaro. 

The police officer was alert and talking, but she was transported to the hospital to be checked out. The driver of the Camaro was cited but not injured.
