The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office helped brightened the day for some Tulsa children on Thursday.

Sheriff Vic Regalado and deputies stopped by the Salvation Army's Center Of Hope at 102 North Denver to drop off dozens of toys.

The center gives homeless families a place to stay while helping them get back on their feet.
Children who stay at the center will be able to play with the toys and then take them with them when they move out.

"At the end of the day when they come to the center of hope, put a smile on their face because they've got a new toy to play with and take their minds off something, worth it," said Sheriff Vic Regalado.

The sheriff's office collected the toys during a drive this month.
