A federal grand jury in Tulsa has indicted a Sapulpa man with aiming a laser at police helicopter.
According to the U.S. Attorney Danny Williams for the Northern District of Oklahoma, 24-year-old Ethan Hernandez is charged with aiming a laser beam at TPD's helicopter.
In a news release, Williams says if convicted, the maximum penalty would be five years in prison and a fine up to $250,000.
This is the not the first laser incident in Tulsa. Back in 2007, a Tulsa man was arrested for the very same thing involving Tulsa Police's helicopter.
