Police released surveillance video from a Tulsa restaurant robbery which happened early Friday.

Officers say just before 2 a.m., two men, one armed with a gun, walked into the IHOP at 31st and Memorial Drive and demanded money.

As seen on that video, the pair made no effort to cover their faces. Police believe the men are from out of town and possibly long gone.

Video shows two men enter the store around 1:47 Friday morning, bypass the only customer inside and go to where the employees are working.

One man has a gun in his hand and makes them leave their stations and herds them toward the office. He also makes the guys working in the cooler join the others.

When he goes outside to get the manager, most of the other employees take that chance to get out of the kitchen and head to the front.

He forces the manager into the office. He has a plastic bag in one hand and the gun in the other, but Corporal Chris Stout says the man is carrying it by the barrel.

"Just the awkwardness of him holding it like that, he's probably inexperienced at this," he said. "They don't know what they're doing. They're loose cannons for sure."

Video shows the other robber force the other employees out the front door, then, the two robbers leave.

Officers say neither the employees or the one customer in the store at the time were injured.

Police say the two men then left in a silver four-door car, heading south on Memorial. They said the pair appeared to be in their late teens to early 20s.
