Gov. Mary Fallin says staff with the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management is headed to the Pawnee area following Saturday morning's 5.6 magnitude earthquake. The quake was centered in Pawnee and residents there report damaged homes and businesses.

Staff will assess damages and assist victims with their needs.

Fallin also reports crews from the Department of Transportation are checking bridges in the Pawnee area to ensure there are no structural issues.

Meanwhile, the Oklahoma Corporation Commission says its Seismicity team is examining details from the quake to decide whether any action regarding injection wells is necessary.
