GRDA Conducting Online Illinois River User Survey

The Grand River Dam Authority is conducting an online survey about the public's experiences on the Illinois River.

Those experiences include floating, swimming, fishing and camping along the river.

The GRDA says the survey's results will help establish management guidelines for the Illinois River.

“As we shape our management plan for the Illinois we want the public’s input,” said GRDA Corporate Communications Director Justin Alberty, 

“So the more river users we can get involved in this survey, the better. We’re encouraging everyone who has experienced these waters to take part.”

The GRDA says they have contracted with Oklahoma State University on the survey.  Alberty says the online survey takes about 15 minutes to complete.
