OHP Investigates Fatal Hit, Run Crash In Wagoner County

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is looking for a driver who struck and killed a woman on Highway 51 near Wagoner early Saturday.

Troopers report the accident happened just after 3:15 a.m.  

The OHP reports evidence at the scene indicates a red vehicle hit the woman who was apparently walking on the eastbound shoulder of the highway.

Highway 51 was closed for just over two hours while OHP worked the accident scene.

The name of the victim has not been released, pending notification of next of kin.
