Prosecutors have charged a 46-year-old Claremore felon for failing to register as a sex offender for the past nine months.

A Rogers County investigator says Edward Haas was convicted in 2008 with second-degree rape and forcible sodomy involving a Creek County 15 year old.

Upon his release from prison he was suppose to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.  That is something authorities say Haas hasn't done since December 2015.

A Rogers County judge has issued a warrant for Haas' arrest.
