Tulsa and Owasso firefighters were called to several house fires Wednesday.
Tulsa and Owasso crews responded to a home near in the 14200 block of East 56th Street North Wednesday afternoon.
We're told seven people live in the home, but only one was there at the time, and made it out.
The department said flames were showing from the attic of the home when they arrived.
According to TFD, the fire was electrical in nature, saying too many items were plugged into an aging power strip.
In addition to Tulsa and Owasso fire departments, the Air Guard also assisted to extinguish the flames.
The extra help included longer hoses, which helped with water supply issues.
Tulsa crews also responded to a house fire in the 400 block of South 45th West Avenue.
TFD said the fire was accidental but no cause has been determined yet.
Finally, crews also worked to extinguish flames at an apartment complex near 6300 South Owasso. TFD said that fire started due to a juvenile playing with a lighter.
