Tulsa County Sheriff's deputies are searching for a driver who fled after leading them on a chase early Wednesday.
The sheriff's office said the chase began after a deputy stopped a Honda on Highway 412 near 49th West Avenue at about 12:15 a.m.
They said the driver then drove off with the deputy in pursuit. It ended after the car hit a curb at the Quanah exit. Deputies said the car finally came to a stop on Phoenix near MB Brady Avenue where the driver got out and ran.
Deputies say they think they may know who the driver is based on items left in the car.
